ABSTRACT:
FM Global operates on the principal that the majority of property loss is preventable. The company has long offered classroom training to educate customers on specific ways to reduce their risks and wanted to expand the scope of their training program. With clients in more than 130 countries, they needed to find a scalable, cost-effective way to deliver the training.
FM Global worked with SkillSoft to develop custom courses covering a variety of topics such as fire prevention, boiler maintenance and preparation for floods and hurricanes. The courses have been localized into seven languages and are delivered through SkillPort®.
Over 16,000 employees at FM Global's client organizations have used the courses. Evaluations have been positive, and field engineers report improvements in employee understanding and behavior.
