ABSTRACT:
The Internet DNS community has been shaken by the reporting of a major DNS cache poisoning vulnerability by Dan Kaminsky of IOActive, Inc. This widely publicized flaw stimulated major DNS server vendors to publish patches to their DNS implementations in an effort to alleviate this vulnerability. But are the patches alone enough to secure your DNS infrastructure? The Internet Systems Consortium (ISC) calls DNSSEC the "only definitive solution" for this issue. Implementing DNSSEC will not be simple, nor will implementing it in isolation sufficiently secure the Internet DNS system or your DNS infrastructure. However, there are aspects of DNSSEC that can be readily implemented to improve the security of your Internet DNS system and DNS infrastructure while broader adoption of DNSSEC proceeds.

Attend this free webinar to learn about DNSSEC and how it can help resolve DNS cache poisoning attacks.

The live date for this webinar is September 11, 2008 from 12:00 noon EDT to 1:00 PM EDT.
